well i have been looking around for instructional videos to help learn some spinning moves with the fans. I've given up. Does anyone know of some great fire fan perfomances that could i watch and get some spinny ideas from.

Wed, May 31, 2006 - 8:46 PMI've yet to see a fire fan video on the market to buy. You can find some "chinese fan dancing" videos though. The kata/dance/flourishes in these may be of some help to you. Also some early american fan dancing, but that's more burlesque(sp?) stuff; and likely not what you're looking for.

Sun, September 30, 2007 - 7:36 AMthis is not instructional but very spinny. It is mt girlfriend Annie she spins the fans alot, she uses her middle finger and locking positions to do most of it. i guess other peeps use their thumbs, but everyone has their own way.
