Fire Flogging, Contact Fireplay

Looking for anyone who can advise me about fire flogging or contact fireplay? I am new to this aspect of play, but have over two decades of lifestyle experience. Yes you can teach an old dog a new trick.

start with small wicks, preferably eating wicks with no metal exposed, and use 96% or 99% isopropyl alcohol (burns cooler).

after you've carefully removed most of yer body hair thru fire or razor, graduate to white gas. (burns better, hotter, and leaves fuel trails that continue to burn for a few seconds- blow or brush out if it burns too long on bare skin)

I haven't played too much with floggers, but you might want to experiment with varieties of wicks and toys.

    happy burning.

I’ve been doing contact fireplay for about 7 years now. I’ve got a lot of experience with fire as it is my favorite form of play in the “lifestyle” and I have done numerous demos in the Midwest (and some one on one teaching in the DC area) on it.
There is a lot that goes into this style of play…not just fuel or toys or burn times but a combination of all of these as well as the threshold of your “burn bunny” and how comfortable you are with the level of risk. Contact fire is dangerous, but isn’t difficult to learn.
I started by using alcohol wipes and a lighter. 70% iso wipes work just fine, don’t go lower than this as it gets hard to light, 90% wipes work just fine as well they do have a little more bite but we aren’t going for burn time here (3 seconds is all it takes to burn skin). Leave a trail of iso on the bunny or yourself (I always advocate testing on yourself first, there is no knowledge like firsthand knowledge), be sure to pick a place that does not have an overhang of flesh or might be sensitive and then light it. BE PREPARED to put it out as the first time you use a swab you will be leaving a lot of fuel behind. Either blow or wipe it out, both works just fine. This is really the easiest way to get started with “contact fireplay”. After you master this you can expand out to neat toys like flash paper and fire cupping and fire floggers (drool!)…but that is another post for another time. :)
If you have any other questions just drop me a line, I’m always willing to teach new people.
