I am looking at buing some Poi chucks and thought I would see if there is anyone here that uses them.

I've seen chucks, fire chucks, triple chucks, and canvas size 12 EE Chucks.. :P

Sun, June 15, 2008 - 9:57 AMI use or use to use poi nunchunks (nunchaku). Flow Toys sells a pair but they are not made closely to actual nunchucks. I learned how to use nunchuncks and than ordered my LED ones. The length was completly off and the weight was not distrubted correctly. I had to re-learn how to swing them all over again. In addition, the tips flew off and once those are gone, your screwed. I have a new design myself but haven't had the time to have them made to my specifications. I'm glad you posted this.
Anyone know where I can take my deisign and have them made? -

Sun, June 15, 2008 - 12:27 PMActually Sean at flowtoys doesn't generally have a problem customizing. But f you're just looking for glow, there's also Neon Husky.
When you move to fire tools, everything changes. Fire Chucks are based on one of two designs and both are built on the standard chuck connectors.

Mon, November 17, 2008 - 11:23 AMI do chucks, it is my favorite prop. but here is the thing, I began LONG ago with fire and made my own. every other pair of fire chucks and glow chucks I have seen don't quite compare. The handles are often too big, or they are too long, or hmmm. But I don't know if you have more questions....so let me know what you specifically want to know.
And Sean is always looking to improve his design and does great custom work...yeah flowtoys. -

Sat, March 7, 2009 - 6:22 PMi have a couple pairs of glow chucks a friend gave me. theyre small clear hosing attached by a chain. you can fit glowsticks inside em and they cost next-to-nothing. that way you dont have to spend a lot to decide if you like em. theyre fun as hell too! -
